~Vampire Knight~
the japanese word "shuujin" means prisoner...personally, I've got an affinity to the word because "shujin" means husband. Meh, I find it rather ironic, don't you?

Anyways, the pic, the pic. I've been spending a heck of a lot of time on this, which I hope that you can tell! But of course, you can see that it isn't finished...I haven't done a background and I haven't fixed up all the messed up lines, hehe. But, I have to say, I spent a looooong time on Yuki's hair trying to get it the right shade, and I think I got pretty close...or at least I think it looks rather pretty, which is the general affect I was goin for. I also discovered a new way to do the eyes that are similar to Matsuri Hino's style of doing eyes. I actually got the idea from *Peachfuzz and one of her recent pictures with a moon, but I used the 10% cool grey Prismacolor Marker after I had outlined all the black parts of the eyes in a deep red, and it came out with an overall red tint to the eyes...yay, success! Its still really hard to control, but its always so fun and exciting when you discover a new technique! I also went over layers and layers of grays for the uniforms....so now I'm afraid it looks a bit overworked...I don't know, can you tell what is going on there?
anyways, I also discovered a nice way to make the skin look soft but still have variation, so it didn't turn out as harsh as the "Wind" pic I did a while back...what do you think of this new style?

Anyways, I plan on doing a background...so, here we go...
should I do a bit of a red couch thing and then the rest of the pic black?
should I do the couch, black, with a few bloodstains for good measure on the background black part?
should I leave it as is/ go onto photoshop and mess around with it instead of going to markers?

Skin tones:eggshell, blondwood, brick beige, sand
Yuki's hair: sand, jasmine, light umber,french grey 60%, yellowed orange, burnt ochre
Yuki's Eyes:mahogany red, Cool Grey 10%
Zero's hair: Cool Grey 10%,30% and 60%
Kaname's hair: sand, grench grey, light umber.
Kaname's uniform: Cool Grey 10%
Zero/Yuki uniform: cool grey 30%,10%,70%,90%, Warm Grey 40, french grey 60, warm black.
