EDIT2: I made this a bit smaller in hopes that it might make a nice desktop if anyone so desired. Tell me if you use it, I'd so like to know!Gaara tanuki ( aka raccoon)
I decided to go really simple lookin for this one, but I still think it turned out alright, right?
I'm still not sure if I want to add shadows at all or not, so please tell me your opinion~!
I'm still trying to figure out photoshop and really all computer crud like png and gif files...have no idea how it works. Anybody care to explain? I want to leave it transparent in the background, but that doesn't work for jpegs...only gifs, and they don't allow fanart gifs....>.>

EDIT: I changed the picture so it looked more...presentable. Hopefully that is better for ya'all~

lol, I made a Tanuki Belle. I think it looks grood without the shadows, btw. Oh, and png's should be able to have transparent background, too. Gif is basically severely limited color scheme (like 255 colors) and transparency, but it's nice and small and can be animated. Jpg/jpeg is small, too, and can have different levels of compression, but no transparency or animation. Png is like jpg, but slightly larger (sometimes it depends...) and with more options, like author information, transparency, and such. I guess that's like a very basic summary.

when it was online. The actual picture never even showed up, but a black background was on the preview picture thingie

It looks fine as an image, but if you go into the gallery and view the thumbnail, it's all black and patchy.
