me personally...i just have an irrational magnetic attraction to all things shiny and bright pink. It is a characteristic that has undoubtedly cost me several thousand dollars throughout the course of my entire life. XD I'd love to believe that the reason why so MANY love this particular piece is because there are others of my species, but on the contrary, they probably appreciate it for the beautiful composition and successful utilization of uncommon colors. bright pigments are very hard to work with since they tend to be so overpowering, and artists seem to (sadly!) shy away from them as a general rule and stick to the basic color wheel. a piece like this, that not only ventures into the "unknown", so to speak, but also succeeds so well in this realm, is a definite eyecatcher for anyone.
