I guess we're not all alone in face of the world.... some of us have the love of the dearest ...they have a soul mate to share the world with ... they have a family that is so united and they will never have to face it alone...some of them...are surrounded by pure love and trust and true friendship... and i could say more ...

I agree with you, many people have a loved one, or/and a family to share the world with, they know true friendship, they will never be alone to face the world...
Except that most of us have a secret garden filled with lovely souvenirs and/or painful experiences they keep for themselves, as each of us is an individual who has to cope by itself with this world he is facing with from his birth to his death, no matter he is loved or not, not matter he loves or not. Each of us has to draw his own path...

I can definitely identify with this flower too. So many times in life, it feels just this way. You are half destroyed, but still you put on that brave face and try to kick the world's ass back, since it has been kicking yours...
