Description
Right next to House and Wilson confirming their love for each other, Emma finally believing was a good TV moment for me, particularly when I've been keeping up with this series regularly. Thus, a representation of light dissolving darkness, a perfect description of what believing is.This was sketched poorly sometime before the finale though (I believe when I saw the trailer for the last 3 episodes of the season and I saw her with the sword) and I wanted to do something with it. So here, have a spiced-up sketch since I'm lazy, prolly will scrap eventually. &P

Yeah. In the lead up to that, I was like, "If Henry taking the fall for her doesn't get her to believe, nothing will." I'm with Rumpelstiltskin on his side of this issue, which is probably "It's about bloody time!"

Yup. Albeit, a seriously twisted "fairy god father" character as he knew her name before she was born (Names have power. Rumpelstiltskin. Enough said.), and probably watched her closely as she was growing up in our world, even if he couldn't leave Storybrooke. (Maybe that's why all the magic was leaving. He had used it all up during the years he'd watched and waited for her to come to set Fairytale Land free.)

The moment I realized what Regina was doing I knew it would not end well. I was sitting there in front of the TV like "alright, well, you've got the apple...clearly there's going to be a pie...turnovers are good too more appealing to every age group WAIT OH GOD HE'S GONNA EAT THAT SOMEHOW ISN'T HE? REGINA STOP IT STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND JUST REGINA. REGINA. THIS WON'T END WELL REGINA STOP IT."

I LOVED that whole fight, I found it to be a great defining moment in Emma's first step in embracing that she is the chosen one. Like the instant she sees Maleficent she's got this look on her wide-eyed face that's just screaming "you have GOT to be kidding me omg there is NO WAY THIS CAN BE REAL". And the moment she chooses to pick that sword back up again she's finally accepting that maybe she needs to let go of reality as she always has and accept that perhaps fantasy is the better reality when there's a dragon trying to kill you.
