Taken at the Woodland Park Zoo, I'ts a North American Kestrel by the name of Coulee (named after the city it was found in).North American Kestrels are the smallest falcons in North America.

It's wonderful to see you post this. It's a beautiful shot of one of my favorite little bird of prey. The sharpness and dof is gorgeous as well as the color. This definately made your trip to the zoo well worth it.

what a beautiful animal, love the strong deep of field and the focus, the animal looks so sharp, and the whole image is so gentle to the eyes
