Ah I'm back! Sorry for the lack of content recently, got distracted with school stuff and my laptop decided to die on me so I had to get a new one and get all my software back. Anyway now its all sorted out I should start uploading more pieces in the future if I'm not too busy with school.And yes, another new OC.

The thing is, usually when I do something on Sai, I end up not liking it it and I get rid of it. Everything I do on paper just seems to be better for some reason

I can agree with you there, digital is really nice.
The only thing with that is that I need to learn more techniques on how to do more specific things, like fire and glowing objects. Most of the things I'd like to do are still in practice, which sucks.
I would usually do this stuff in my Digital Media class, but somebody at school stuffed up and I ended up with a free subject. When I asked if I could get moved back into Digital Media, they told me the classes were full, and the worst part is, I came across someone in my home group the other day complaining that he didn't pick it, and he's stuck in that class.

Oh that's a bummer. The only artistic classes I do at school is art. I mean they Have a Graphics class but that's all 3d sort of stuff I'm not into really.

Oh, right. That's cool, we don't have that here. Digital Media for us is Digital art and photo editing mostly, but we do have a little bit of Photography and the occasional video we have to make.
Did you teach yourself how to do all of the digital techniques you use, or did you learn from somebody? Sorry if that's an annoying question >_<

Hair is one of the things I just CANNOT get right. I'd probably post more if I knew how to do hair properly, but for now, I'm just gonna have to try and get better at it. It's kinda weird too that I'm much better at hair when I'm drawing it traditionally, instead of doing it as a digital thing.

Well just to do the glow I use a luminocity layer an a gentle airbrush around the area

I find it just darkens the colours, a neat trick I use is shading with purples not black, really makes a difference
