So, this is my halloween picture, since the other one wasn't really "Halloween-y".. I also like this one much better. o3oOh my gawd, I never want to see lace again ;_; Ffff so tideous... This was my first or second (can't remember) time doing a gothic lolita-esque outfit. Lolita is so much fun to draw.. (except the details) I wanted to add more layers on the dress, but ended up deciding against that.
When I think of Halloween, the creepiest thing for me are dolls.. Especially porcelain dolls, with their white skin, perfect features and blank stares. The story of this picture involves a marionette who decides to remove her mask and break free of the strings controlling her.. It just all came together somehow to form this!
tl;dr dolls are scary lolol.

really good, little off at the shoulder (should a bit wider) but it's a doll - so it don't have to be in human proportion.

I really love everything about; the atmosphere is great! ^__^ <3 The style is really beautiful, and the girl is gorgeous! ^o^ I really love her design! ^__^ The coloring adds a very nice touch to the drawing- I love the blends and all of the highlights! ^^ They turned out wonderfully in the end!
I love the theme of a doll for Halloween; I agree with you- dolls are the creepiest :'D You managed to portray that really well, especially with her expression and posing ^w^ I love the flow of her hair, and the shading on it ^_^ The mask in the corner is also designed very well, and I like the simple colors on it <3 The ground gradient is wonderful; and the shadows of the gate look great against the colors! ;D <3 You did a beautiful job! ^__^ <33 (Be sure to send this entry to =MysticThorn , since we're both hosting the contest together!)

I don't have a sub so I hope you don't mind me critiquing here.
the head seems a little too large to me. The rest of her body is pretty proportional, but the head completely throws it off.
Also, there's something about the way her shoulders/arms are drawn that makes her look a bit stiff...I'm not sure what you can do to fix that (sorry D: ), but perhaps experiment with the shoulder muscles a little more?

Oh wow this is really pretty! I really like how you didn't go too gothic on the halloween theme, but did it lightly which sets a very soft feel ^_^ I really really like her costume (I want one!) and the perspective you've drawn her in
