Holy Fudgin' Crap, after probably a week of work, I'm done.
Maybe this took so long because of how huge the drawing was originally at (2550x3388 px, I'm guessing) until I frickin resized it, but it's still huge (2000x2657 px). You're only getting 1280 px wide of a full view though, hur.

This was for MaruMusic's ([link] ) Kanon Wakeshima Fan Art contest. The theme was based off of her first single, STILL DOLL ([link] ). I kinda always wanted to make something based off of that song & now, I did! Entered because the judge is Kanon herself! I want to show her my art! I love her & she inspires me sometimes with her drawings!
The song is about a "girl... talking to her beloved doll."([link] ). So, I did this, Kanon holding a Kanon doll, Lolwut. Since in the PV, she wears 2 dresses, I thought it would be nice to add both instead of a random doll coming out from nowhere. Failed the expression on Kanon/the girl though. I wanted it look like she was trying to talk to the doll, but the sketch looks better with that idea. I like that chair, it looks bootiful. The background, trying out textured brushes. It turned out pretty good for a 1st attempt, don't you think? I kept it plain because I didn't want any to take away the attention of the Kanons. That sounds REAL weird. Tried to keep the atmosphere calm & creepy at the same time?
I'm pretty satisfied with this, I guess. I really do hope I win, it would mean so much to me... ;~;
I personally don't care about the prizes since no one knows what they are... Wut.
