Description Partly to prove I'm not dead yet, a piece of college work.

Going to turn this into a 3D model for my transcription unit.

My interpretation (not quite the word I want, but it'll do) of a killing device from Tamora Pierce's "Protector of the Small" series (go read, they're good)

Yeah, I can see why most soldiers fled from that thing.  Very well made.

Admittedly, I'd always pictured it with a larger dome head and narrower neck, but this is better.

Yeah, my initial ideas all had a much more dome-shaped head, but it was really difficult to come up with a way of making it look like the the jaws were actually dangerous - then the raptor-aesthetic took over and I just went for the more animalistic head.

Yeah, I know what you mean.  This is definitely more terrifying then anything I used to picture.
