These wings are handpainted silk on a galvanized steel frame. The wings can be worn with clear, plastic straps or simply remove the straps and slide the frame down the back of a corset or bodice for a "real" fairy look.Beautiful silk wings painted by hand.

Pretty! I love silk painting at the best of times, and this is a great idea.
I'm curious: theoretically, how big could these get before the frame just wasn't workable any more? What would you guess would be the maximum span (width and height) that would be feasible?
