Description These wings are in a new line I'm calling Pixie Wings. These particular wings are Imp Wings. I think they look like dragon wings.
This new line is meant to be smaller than my Fairy Wings and larger than my Mini Wings an priced at a reasonable $40.
They are made of silk which I have dyed and then coated in polyeurathane (I like experimenting). They are light, very durable and water proof. The frame is galvanized steel, soldiered and shaped into finger joints and coated in black enamel paint. The finger joints on the backs of the wings are drawn on with a paint pen. The wings attatch with ribbons and are balanced with a figure '8' twist just below the wings.
I can't take credit for the invention of the twist, I saw it somewhere, and as soon as I find out who I got the idea from, I will credit them here.

The idea to use ribbons to put them on was a good one; the perfect accent since they can't be "invisible". I must admit these "bat" looking wings are extemely adorable and though leaning back may be impracticle, the effect is well worth it!
