Another ink sketch that I started last night in class, and finished today at work. This one I rendered beyond being a sketch though.Had this idea for a while, ever since I played Skyward Sword this past winter, but I never got around to it. I based the composition off of a screenshot I took while fighting Demise, the (spoiler!) last boss.
Threw my own watermark on there because I think I'm going to paint this one after this semester is over, and I didn't just copy this from a poster like I did with the Connor sketch. (...also I saw someone else's gallery which had their own watermark instead of DA's). Maybe watermarks are annoying, but maybe they protect my art.

I like all the Zelda games and my favorite princesses would be Windwaker Zelda, Twilight princess Zelda, and Skyward Sword Zelda.

NO NOT PRINCESS. But if I had to pick it would also be Tetra from Windwaker - not the typical damsel-in-distress.

I rather like Demise myself. I think he's cool - even though he gets so little screentime in his true form.
Were that we'd be able to see the Great War that was fought between his army and the Goddess. That would have been cool, I think.

I agree. He was a great character, and his "dark nobility" was interesting - how he still had honor in fighting even though he was evil.

I concur. The fact is that unlike Ghirahim, Demise is stoic, composed and fights fairly. Before the fight began, he was willing to allow Link some time to recover, say goodbye to his loved ones - and even gave him a warning. Even in defeat, he praises the hero for his skill and courage.
Not really something you would expect from the King of Evil - but I have to say it was a pleasant surprise.

Demise - the original Evil.
Although it has yet to be confirmed, I believe that the Demon King is in fact the embodiment of the Chaos that was before the Universe was created. When the Gods created the Zelda Universe - it allowed that Chaos to take physical form.
In any case, he's a lot more honorable than I would have thought for the Big Bad of Skyward Sword. His praise for Link I is genuine - and he's a fellow Blood Knight. He even allows Link a choice - and time to prepare for their duel. When he fights as well, he even shows great respect for the Hero - praising him, even after being defeated.
A challenging opponent - and a worthy rival in my eyes.
