Description
Here's my contribution to the "Link's Blacklist" Zelda tribute organised by .Tried to make Demise look much to his appearance as I could, with a similar face to Akuma's I think i did quite well with it.
Took about 10 hours here and there in Photoshop CS5.

I can't say I like him more than Ganondorf, more like on par. They both have their merits. It's a shame they've rolled with Ganondorfs Twilight Princess appearance with a lot of stuff though...

I hear ya, first time I saw him was actually pretty scary.
Just to see a figure that menacing and intimidating, that much raw power is fairly frightful.
Too bad the final fight was kinda lack luster.
I feel like in terms of brute force he is much more powerful than Ganondorf.
Then Ganondorf gets point in dark magic and controlling people and all that jazz.
But I think in Hyrule Warriors, Ganondorf will get a Demise costume as future DLC. Fi has a Fairy Queen costume, and Ruto has... uh, the girl Zora from Majora's Mask outfit (who already looked EXACTLY like her in the first place). If they can make characters look like other characters, then they can make Ganondorf look like his original incarnation.
While on the subject, Hyrule Warrior Ganondorf SHOULD be his new appearance from now on.

Really nice work incorporating all of those little details. Just beat this game a few days ago. This was one of the coolest-feeling boss battles I've ever experienced. Parrying Demise's attacks and hitting him with multiple spin attacks felt so satisfying thanks to the motion controls. Not to mention the finishing blow. I was breaking out in a sweat. Again, nice work!

Thanks. The scales took me a fair bit of time and the effects on the hair and evil smoke stuff was hit and miss.
I need to go through the game again at some point, I got chills when that whole Demise bit at the end kicked off.

What I had to go through to kill this bastard ( 3 times): 2 ++ heart posion bottles and a fairy, finally the third time I killed him with 5 hearts left.....SO FREAKIN HARD -.-

Wow really? I defeated him last night, and I lost the first battle against him. But I won the second battle without using any potions (I had 16 hearts in total and about 4 hearts left at the end).

Sounds like a nightmare. Only problem I think I had with SS were the controls, then again I had a cheap motion plus from eBay

He is the coolest boss I've ever faced in my life. Demise deserves Nr. 01 on the 100 Greatest Villains of All Time. Becuase he is the Demon King and the the most powerful being in the universe!! (Who wouldn't agree with me? He was too much for the Goddess herself and no-one has ever been a match to the Gods/Goddesses!!)

Well, he certainly deserves it if you think about it. Ganondorf is placed 3rd on the list. But he is the Incarnation of Demise. Demise is much stronger than Ganondorf: He could hurt the Goddess physically, the goddess could only seal him, he grew stronger each time the seal broke and when he died he placed a curse on Link so that his hatred would become his decendants. A hatred becoming decendants? And when you're dying, you can't do something powerful... Yet Demise did all that and all that aside... his hair was burning. One more thing: he made a cool show-off when he was reborn! You'll have to re-think if you think he will be on any place but 1st. He made one tornado by swinging his sword and changed the weather just like that, too! He is the coolest person/demon/being I've ever seen in my life.

if i didn't know any better i would have thought it was super sayain 3 Akuma or something, but i do know better and i ill say this is a well drawn and detailed picture

The most terrifying villain in Zelda history. He just wants the Triforce destroyed, he doesn't give a damn about its power.

Actually he does want the Triforce for it's power, so he can conquer the world.
I remember him saying right before the battle:"It won't be long now. At last, the almighty power I've sought for millenia... I will take the Triforce for my own... And the world will be under my foot for eternity!"
I've faced him at least 50 times or so, so I'm pretty certain that he says that.
IMO, I think Majora is a more terrifying villain than Demise. Now there's a villain who didn't care about the Triforce; he just wanted to destroy everything. Demise is still pretty bad@ss though.

You have done an outstanding job capturing Demise in all his terrifying might, from his ferocious, Akuma-esque expression to his demonic version of the Master Sword. I am very happy that someone has created an epic piece of one of my new favorite Zelda villains. You have outdone yourself with this. Keep up the good work!
