well ... i didn't call him that ... but that's what he looks like here. seriously ... you don't see a lot of photos of jack. why? he's done it so long and the long-lens paparazzi fuck with him to no end. in fact, in our little circle of guys allowed to shoot inside parties ... no one really approaches jack.he's one of the more rare people to show up. even if he's with a host or whatever ... he's one you approach with trepidation. seriously ... i've never seen him blow-up ... but the stories are great. like party urban legends.
all i said was, "yo, jack, you shot one of these in chinatown, may i make a photograph?"
jack replied in that jack voice ... "sure."
he then asked me questions about chinatown and i asked him about the two jakes then we talked about the lakers.
sorry ... i may not be starstruck ... but i'm definately a fan of jack.
leica m6 ttl, 50mm summar 2.0 (vintage 1937 with no coating), at about 5.6 ... ah ... think it was like a 500th ... available light on delta 400 (normal).
