As far as I can gather, they're torn apart by colours on their collars, shoulders and piping called Waffenfarbe. The list is like this:
White - Infantry
Yellow - Cavalry, Cyclists and Reconnaissance units
Lemon Yellow - Signals
Red - Artillery/Ordnance
Dark Red - Smoke Troops (Chemical)
Black - Engineers
Cornflower Blue - Medical Corps
Light Blue - Motor Transport
Light Green - Jägers and Maountain Troops
Pink - Armoured Troops and Anti-tank units
Crimson - General Staff and Veterinary Corps
Violet - Chaplains
Orange - Military Police and Engineer Officers
Grey-Blue - Specialist Officers
and Administrative officials wore dark green Waffenfarbe and were further split into branches (each with its own colour) thusly:
Red - Commissariat
Crimson - HQ Officials
Light Blue - Legal Services
Light Green - Pharmacists
White - Paymasters
Black Technical Services
Yellow - Cavalry Depot
Orange - Recruiting Service
Light Brown - Training Specialists
Instead of the Waffenfarbe, the Armoured units wore a skull and crossbones on their collars. But as for the regiments distinctive badges or symbols they are made to look as if they're one huge unit. It looks as if the only distinction is on paper, on vehicles or the division they belong to.
Theres SS cuff bands and collar badges
I bought the Army Badges and Insignia of World War 2 (by Guido Risignoli) Book 1 and 2 and I can only find:

and Ive just read that the regiments/divisions were distinguished by cuff titles:
Adolf Hilter
SS Polizei Division
Hohnestaufen
Das Reich
Germania
Deutchland
Der Führer
Reichführer SS
Totenkopf
30. Januar
Nord
Reinhard Heydrich
Nordland (2 styles)
Westland (2 styles)
Göts Von Berlichingen
Nazi skull and crossbones
Prinz Eugen
Florian Geyer
Wallonien
Theodore Icke
Charlemagne
Frundsberg
To me though these look more like areas of operation or names of their Divisional Commandant, so Im guessing they would called along the lines of 33rd Charlemagne or something similar to that.
