Oh boy, Transformer time!

Retread is a custom Transformer that I designed back in middle school, originally meant to be a redesigned version of Optimus Prime (this was way before Armada or Classics came around). He eventually changed colors and became Oblivion, then later Retread.

Retread was meant to be the leader of a group of non-aligned Transformers in the G1 continuity. There wasn't any sort of story behind this, it was just a junkbasket for all my Transformers "fan characters". I never actually decided on a final name for the faction, although "Roguecons" got thrown around a lot.

His altmode is a Freightliner Argosy cab-over-engine tractor trailer cab. In the original design, back when he was still called Oblivion, he had a trailer that could be taken apart piece by piece, each part becoming a weapon that attached to his robot mode. This didn't carry over to the current version, so he's just a cab now.

I believe this was actually drawn using the line tool in MS Paint before being colored in PSP7. There may have been a physical sketch I traced from, I can't recall, but it's almost entirely digital in either case.
