This is my buddy boy, Tyson Otic Hager. He's a pit bull mix, and he's such an angel! (Don't believe all those rumors about them being viscious creatures, it's all bullcrap. Any who...) About eight years ago, we adopted him and his sister, Luna, whom we renamed Cassie. Tyson's was originally Otic, but Lindsey liked Tyson better, so Tyson he remains to this day and age.
Now, Cassie proved to be the rowdiest and most dominant of the two, and therefore, unable to control. So we gave her back to the family who gave her to us.
Ever since, Tyson has been a loyal member of our family. Sure, we've hit a few rough patches, but no matter what, I'll always love him.

Pitbulls can be vicious creatures...when abused and treated cruelly. Then again...almost any creature can be vicious.
However, my experiences with Pitbulls have almost always been good ones. However there were some where, while they weren't hostile, were very wary around humans (these were rescues that had been mistreated) and frightened...though I'm happy to report most of those have adapted to their new environments and have found good homes...one of them is actually a help-dog.
On the other hand, I do believe Pitbulls tend to get angry and aggressive when they see the people they care for get hurt and tend to attack anyone who they see as a threat. But I'm only speaking from previous experience on that one.
