It's odd how the quiet symmetry of this piece grabs me - and yet is does not
yield to 'boring'. Wow, if I came across these grasses, I shoot a variety of
shots. It's nice to see an exciting piece that does not have all the colors
and values of the rainbow. Also, I detect that YOU detected a spiritual thing here(?)
Regards (and thanks again for all your great communication!)

Thanks a lot Richard ! yes it's like a: no mirror effect. So much that you need to visually compare the two different sides of the path to be sure about this and after a while it's becoming hypnotic. Yes it could seem to be "boring" for me it's more contemplative, a kind of visual invitation to this walk in the snow. It doesn't need all the real colors it could be quite vulgar" and really boring, I wanted precisely to create this atmosphere. Where is this spirit you saw in this image ? for me all the place is full of ghosts, even mine continuing to speak here about this walk & place. Other pictures of this series will come in the next days.
You're welcome, it's very interesting to speak with you !

To my way of imagining, SPIRITS are not 'SEEN' as you are asking, but FELT.
A path that leads somewhere or nowhere. That's mysterious, along with the
gentle blowing of the grasses' tops. A wind is blowing. The scene's coloration,
probably influenced by your 'finalizing' processes, also suggests an
un-worldly atmosphere. I believe in the integrity of the American Indian who
roamed the territory of the US, long before I arrived. The Souix an Ojibwe
could very well be buried next to our back year balcony. They lived all over
the Area of Eden Prairie Minnesota, fished in the Minnesota River, a few
miles from here. Our country owes such atonement to many peoples, and it
will never happen. So I just will those people back...by imagining their spirits.
WOW, that's enough for today: Dick g

Hi Richard, I perfectly agree with you about spirits, I already felt very often spirits around me, and it's sometimes possible to see them from the corner of the eye when you're tired or your mind completely empty. Well I can't tell you more about all this on an opened and public space as this website. It's just a part of my life.
Yes I understand very well what you're saying about American Indians, I must say that I didn't think about this before now, creating this picture I was more thinking about a mix between the present time and the European Middle age, this path being a way to pass between the two worlds !
I imagine the place where you're living and I feel that you'll have to find peace with those Indian spirits (ancestors) to pray or to speak to them in your mind. To be completely accepted in their ancient lands, like if you were their own little son !
