Description
So, I got sick of always resorting to going through google images for animal reference images, so I spent a whole day at the Zoo, taking photos. I got there when it opened (9:00 in the morning, when the big cats were the most active, especially the two young cheetahs) and by the time I left (around 4:30) I had taken over 400 photos. It was a good day.

So this was a quick practice drawing I did based on one of the photos. The critter in question is called a "maned wolf" It's about the size of a small wolf, but looks a whole lot like a fox with extra long legs, tiny paws, and huge ears. They also smell like skunks, go figure.

I'm really surprised and happy with how the fur texture came out. I kinda wish I hadn't used such heavy lines when outlining.
