Bio: Gemuri was born not knowing her parents and was passed around caretakers. She was deemed special due to her ability to see and communicate with the supernatural. One day, the Great fire of Enbizaka happened and Gemuri witnessed the souls of those who suffered from the fire. After experiencing a mental breakdown, Kai Miroku suggested that Gemuri should be away from the place where the fire started but Kai only said this to hide the truth and get away with it. Gemuri spent most of her days doing readings and communicating with the dead.

Gemuri eventually meets Rin Miroku and develops a connection after deciding to go to the market one day(Yuri romance happening here). Eventually she forms a bond with Kayo, whom she saw as a mother figure. One day she sees Kayo had physically changed. With how even her memories changed Gemuri wandered around confused about what happened and eventually recalling the Fire that was released a long time ago. Remembering the souls, she went to Kayo to confront her about her 'husband' causing her to faint of shock. Gemuri had Kokutan-douji help her to her home where she preformed a rejuvenation/purification bath to help Kayo remember. Kayo eventually remembers and she is mad, Gemuri offers a different solution.

This ties into the canon story but instead of killing the three, they make it look like a spirit took away the female Mirokus when in reality they told them about Kai's crime and asks them to stay hidden. Eventually they create a confrontation for Kai where Gemuri disguises herself as a kitsune and scares him to the point where she even summons ghosts to swear he'll tell Hamlet style. Once it was all over and having witnessed Kai's long awaited execution they pray for the souls who finally found peace. A monk comes to do the sutra and Kayo immediately breaks down in tears recognizing Gakuga which results in such a beautiful reunion. Gemuri gets better seeing that the souls are now going to the afterlife and pursues into going into a relationship with Rin eventually getting married and having a kid after asking Kokutan-douji to be Gemuri's sperm donor(I know they're supposed to remember each other but hshsh)(also idk how many kids so for now one).
