It looks kind of cool but you are missing some highlight information in the sky and there is a lot of noise up there as well. Good composition here otherwise. Did you actually make multiple exposures in post or did you shoot multiple exposures?

praise the lord. there are people out there who have more to say, than just..."i like the colors.....nice pic..." and so on.
thank you for the critic, it's much more appreciated than just saying stuff that doesn't help me improving my skills.
it's just a single shot (no raw), so there aren't any different exposures...(didn't have my tripod with me that day) and this single shot was "underexposed" (sorry i don't know the correct word)...that's why highlight informations are missing and noise appeared in the sky. couldn't even remove the noise with noise ninja

thank you for your comment and good luck in nyc!

Thanks, no prob!

Hey, I just found out a trick for multiple exposure shots without a tripod. You may want to try this if your camera is capable of it.

I have a Canon 30d and I usually always shoot with a tripod for auto bracketed shots. I recently found that I can ditch the tripod if I use the high speed continous burst in my settings. My last 5 or 6 deviations where captured without a tripod! Keep in mind that you must have bright lighting (daytime) and if you use Photomatix it's a good idea to click the reduce moving objects in high detection mode. Good luck and I'm glad my earlier comment didn't offend.

i'm using a eos 400d, and i will try it with the continous burst mode. usually i make my hdr-images with tripod and AEB-mode.
i'm using photomatix since 2.5 (older versions made mistakes with my .raw-data) and i do always try to avoid the "reduce moving objects"-mode cause if enabled, there's a lagg of sharpness.

but anyway thank you for your tip, i will try it!
