Day 46: Techno Maleficent and Diaval

“And a dark figure approached, her hair following like the veil of a spouse, except they were black, black more than the night. The mechanical craw on her shoulder croacked with a broken sound and she smirked. – Yes, Diaval, yes. Of course we are here to present our gift to the princess.–”

This is the daily art of my personal 365 days art challenge: I draw a new character every day, focusing on scifi concepts.

Maleficent was cool in 1959 already, but I loved the one portrayed by Angelina Jolie too. And I am super happy to know that there will be a Maleficent sequel. I enjoyed the first movie, this different tale that reimagined the characters; my favorite was Diaval, obviously! Whose name in Italian I love (Fosco).
