Day 48: Aladdin

“A whole new world. A new fantastic point of view!”

This is the daily art of my personal 365 days art challenge: I draw a new character every day, focusing on scifi concepts.

Let’s celebrate the opening day (at least here in Italy) of Aladdin. So upset I can’t go to the theaters today, but I will in a short time. Aladdin is a special movie for me: first of all it is the first DVD I ever owned (and I got it before I had a DVD player – LOL – so I just stared at the box XD); I hadn’t seen the movie before and it was one of the first cartoons my little sister remember and therefore one of her favourite. You can’t imagine how electrified she was when she learned about the action movie adaptation: it was like being a child again. So I did this drawing for her, even though unfortunately I can’t give it to her today. We are just 10 kilometers apart but it seems like an ocean. Yep, I am an overly attached sister! But that’s the job of older siblings!
