Hello, lovely people! So glad to have you stop by! Welcome to our weekly Themed feature! This week’s feature comes to you from both devfeatures and AllArtandStuff .

For this week I am happy to share with you some beautiful artwork based on the theme “MOON” starting with some pieces from our awesome members at AllArtandStuff . This is definitely one of the more popular themes since nighttime offers such a fascinating and mysterious setting for any painting or story. The night and the moon specifically have been central to many cultures and religious over the long history of humankind. It has captivated people’s imagination for millennia with its milky, gentle glow, so different from the sun’s bright harsh light. For artists it has provided an amazing opportunity to study a different kind of aesthetic – based on silhouettes and shadowy outlines - that always carries a level of mystery and uncertainty be it in the form of a rooftop chase or a midnight dance of fairies on a forest clearing or a pair of lovers sneaking to a secret rendezvous spot. It’s this versatility that makes it endlessly interesting and fresh as a theme.
