im big an of rock/metal msuic personally but anime has 'ruined my persnal rep and now my guilty pleasure is JJ-Pop and K-Pop xD

if we are talking rock/metal though My fave badns are Three Dyas Grace and Escape the Fate though

Haha, I wouldn't say it's ruining mine, I like different kinds of music, from rock (I even like a few screamo songs) to classical (I especially enjoy pianos), and other kinds of music in between. So it's not bad to like different things, imo xD

Yup, I know them. I love TDG, they're still good even after Adam left. And btw, he's in a new band, if you didn't know, called Saint Asonia. And Escape the Fate was one of the first rock bands I've listened to ^^

ive not dived to far into the screamo scene but im open to most genres, anything that makes my ears happy i guess xD
as for classical music the anime 'Your Lie In April really brought into the scene of slow, melodical music. my preference is slow violins, i also enjoy piano's too xP

i think they're still good but this album has to be my least favourite, from the age of 12-16 Adam was my favourite/my ideal of the perfect rock vocalist so i was pretty obssessed and horribly upset when he eft xP  

i was a big fan of 'let me live my life' from Saint Asonia's album but have not given the whle album a listen yet


For me the first badns where Linkin Park (i think this was the gateway for so many people with songs like Numb and What Ive Done being liked and appreciated by people who dont have affinity for rock musci ) and TDG then its all progressed from there xP


but there are simply some songs/bands that have borderline iconic songs that everyone loves/can appreciate such as Last Resort from Papa Roach, play that in a public place and im sure everyone will either recognise it or hum/sing along xD

Same here, I don't get into one genre and stick to it. There's a large variety of music genres I like, I could never sum them up.
I know, right? I watched it around two weeks ago and I liked it so much that I finished it in two days. It wasn't the first anime related to classical music that I watched, though. I think Nodame Cantabile was the first ^^ And after watching it I started listening to classical music a bit more.

Me too, Adam fit really well in TDG. They stilt have some good songs now with Matt (if I'm not mistaken), but with Adam almost every song of theirs was at a high level imo. And Saint Asonia is good, but I feel like the instrumental is lacking a bit. It's not bad, but Idk, with TDG there was something different and better, can't really explain xD

That's true, and I would add to this Eye of the Tiger by Survivor and maybe Chop Suey! by System of a Down. There's also this song I found a while ago and it seemed so similar even though I didn't recognize the band or its title. It's called Invincible, by All Good Things. Maybe you know it as well ^^
