Oh wow. Love the pose, love the colors (don't make the background any more defined, as it would take attention away from Ben!)
The leather came out so well! And his expression is great - very reserved, wary, very Crichton. Yay!

I love John Critchon..I loved farscape..I loath Stargate now...without Anderson...even though he produces the show...he bolngs to Stargate and should have stayed there...John Critchon belongs in Farscape...lol how the hell did I go on'a rant like that!...sorry hun..I do do love your work

Yeah, I'm still going thru Scape withdrawal and its been awhile since PeaceKeeper Wars! I watch Stargate sometimes, but I've always found the pace to be very slowwww. The zaniness of Farscape was very fresh.

Nice work! The larger version is the same size as the preview?? I agree with the comments about the background, it should be something of the same quality as the figure to do it justice.

Background: But I don't know what to do!!! I thought about twin moons or suns (tatooine style) Kyntio suggested an exploding planet. The ref pic had the interior of Moya (their ship). I dont want that though - I want something brighter. Know any good alien sun - exploding planet tutorials?

I don't think you need to redo the background totally, may be just tighten it up a bit in keeping the figure.

Yeah, that's one of the things I miss most about the show - it's sense of humor. It was also fast-paced, intelligent and I got to stare at Ben! What could be better?

But seriously, the leather came out great and those muscles look very real, great work.

Only crit is maybe that I wish the background was a bit less blurry and more defined. And I'd like the whole pic to be bigger because I like to be able to lick the screen when Ben's on it

lol - "lick the screen" It was one of those angsty "black tee shirt" days. Yeah, I didn't know what to do with the background other than to make it bright so it 'threw some light' onto Ben. Any specific suggestions?

Backgrounds are always the worst part because you feel the pic is finished and then you have to do more work Well you don't have to of course but it usually ads to the picture a lot. hmm lemme think.... seen as you've already got the orange color you could always make it look more like a fire or an explosion maybe a planet exploding but it's really up to you leave if you don't feel like it it's still lovely.
