I always loved Laura. I have so many of her clothes. Friend was friends with her and I got a bunch of stuff. nice little pic of self control. thats my favorite song of hers.

That is indeed a weird/special video.
Got very surprised when i saw it the first time.I had always loved the song and since some years back also Masks.
So it was like perfect when i saw and heard these two items togheter.

Thanks. Yeah, not having the categories anymore is annoying.
This one isn't a painting but a photomanip. I used a number of filters including Photoshop's Dry Brush to get the painted effect. I thought about painting it, but I have two digi-paintings in the works now and that's enough.

It's warmer than that here, but the nights are cooler now, which is nice. Up a bit early today. Our dog let out a few quiet "ruffs" this morning to let me know the horses decided not to wait for breakfast but get their own (i.e., break out and wander all over the backyard). Luckily, they didn't take off when they saw me.

Such a wonderful memoriam for Laura Branigan. I really liked her music and was sad when I heard of her passing.

My father passed away in 1993 from a brain aneurysm too. To my knowledge it does not run in the family.

Thanks so much. It was a bit difficult deciding which ref pics to use and which to disgard as the video has such great imagery (Kept trying to sneak the 1940's vehicle into there).
Laura had such a unique voice.
I read that her Dad and Grandfather died of the same thing, so who knows. My Da has Parkinson's and they're still not sure how much genetics plays into that.

Wow I did not know that her dad and grandfather died of the same thing. In her case I bet genetics did have something to do with it. There has been a lot of deaths in my family and my dad is the only one that died from a brain aneurysm.
