you captured this at the best time for infared, right before a storm when you get great cloud formations Just a stunning landscape, I really love the touch by the windmill

Very nice - I love the blue of the trees. I might prefer a tighter crop of the foreground since it is a lot lesser quality than the rest, but the main subjects are superb.

wow that is a crazy view. it reminds me of the term 'nuclear winter'. That is a great angle too, with the windmill and the treeline in just the right part of the photo. awesome.

amazing use of detailed tones in this one man.

I've really been enjoying your infra-red photography lately, I might try to shoot some new things, maybe small objects in odd places, but you need to continue your fabulous eye for detailed images.

You've grown a classic image with your collection of IR photos. They are all "class-acts" and very original at the same time. very innovative as well.

your attention to detail is impecable. What I might do is try to ease off of the contrast a bit, to let more detail flow through that grass, as IR photos are supposed to pay attention to detail, just thought I'd suggest that.

overall great work on this chris, I love these IR photos, and can't wait to see your next.

take care man,
grant.

yeah - im saving up for the new 828 so that i can capture more detail with my shots. The piece wasnt properly focused (large DOF with an fstop of 2 - stupid fucking POS 717) i cant manually control what the settings are - so just wait till i get a new cam and these shots will be fucktastic.

I agree with everything you said - im just working within the bounds of my hardware =\

Its great! One of the best IR i've seen, but, i agree when people say that you're getting repetitive.. Try something new, Innovate!

Haha yeah that record hail was 8 inches in Crystal City, just incredible!

And where do you take your shots at?? They always seem to be in the middle of nowhere but great landscapes...

wow, this almost looks like infra-red photography..that's really snow??

all of the tones and details are amazing, and i love how that windmill sticks out, it doesn't even look real...
the fence going out in the background really adds something too, i don't think it could be more perfect..

I like how the out of focus grass contrasts agianst the sharp detail in the windmill. The colors add a bit of surrealism to it all. Well done.
