Yet ANOTHER collab with the lovely ~starxade . This time, her drawing "My Pharaoh Yami".It's funny... I saved the image that was originally in her gallery, and it was all in blue. No matter how much I tweaked the lineart in Photoshop, I couldn't get it to look right; so, I printed out five copies, initially thinking, "This way, if I mess up, I have spares."
But, I didn't mess up on the lineart the first time around. So I thought, "Now what do I do with these others?"
And thus I made it into a sort of... experiment with different media.
This is part 1 of 5, watercolours. I will also be doing Coloured pencil, Copic marker (I shall have to go to PlaZa and get some at some point), PSCS2, and oC4.06E+.
Hope y'all like it, I was very proud of how it came out.
Although, since I don't have access to my scanner here ('tis stuck back in Austin), I had to snap a photo with my digital camera instead.
The colours aren't actually that bright.BTW, the Manga/Anime category this belongs in doesn't want to seem to load, so I'm sticking it here for the time being.
EDIT: It's loaded now, so, deviation moved. :3

Oh that look of his!!! I love the picture and it gives you an original view of Pharaoh Atem!
The coloring is really good and so are the body analgies! I love it! Also that look on his face is a smug and somehow "evil" look! He prooves a man that whatever he wants the only thing he has to do is snap his fingers and he will have it! Something that was really usual for...a king that he is supposed to be a god! He looks like being in his harem or anything, expecting to be entertained! The cirtrnty in his eyes also shows a brave man and a man that has confidence to himself! He is good and he knows it! You caught that side of his really well!
Even though you drew his arms a bit...too big yet it is a wonderful piece of art! Your colors run smoothingly and the shades are really good! Keep practicing! Keep the great job of yours!
