And now that we're in 2011 can we please see some cyborgs this year. I've been waiting for many many years and the movies said we'd see them by now, and since real life is based on all the movies why hasn't this happened? I want implants (no not those!), I want blue glowing muscle fibers, I want lasers shooting out the side of my head, I want to lift cars up and throw them across the street. Oh what a bleak horrible future we live in!

but the concept of them being a zombie and a cyborg is kinda of seriously deedeedeedur why would you make a zombie into a cyborg, and you can't turn a cyborg into a zombie. it's mostly machine including the brain therefore it couldn't go zombie on you, you'd have control over it, and even if it did go zombie on you it wouldn't change cause you'd still have control over it.

Well I don't know about you youngsters these days with your new fangled do-hickies, but back in my day the cyborg was a person with robotic like machine enhancements. Human brain, self controlled and still subject to death and zombification. And THAT is what these guys are. Just like mom used to make.

Interesting image, i don't think I've ever seen cybernetics depicted in such an unusual (but awesome) way. As an avid follower of robotics and cybernetics I keep track of it's progress very closely. Synthetic muscles are probably about 20 years from reaching a practical level, but once they do making them glow blue would be easy

i have to agree with ya man. i want to see flying cars,hover boards(from back to the future part 2)(oh by the way if you watch it that happen in 2015..4 years from now)big ass robots like a gundam(i know japan have one underground or under water)AIs,the only AI that seem to be a real AI is the PS3,a moon base,a real space ship that have wrap power...man sometimes i wonder is this the twilight zone?
