I love how Halo built a frame for her balls instead of just deploying the real thing, and it's actually better articulated than everyone else's ballframes.

Well, except possibly for Masterchief there.Β We can't tell anything about how the ballframe on that MjΓΆlnir armor is articulated.

After all, Charlie Chaplain once entered a "Charlie Chaplain Lookalike" contest and came in second. ^_^

I don't think there is ever an explicit rule barring a famous person from entering their own look-alike contest because fans like any opportunity to see the genuine article. Β For example, if a Brown-coat saw Captain Tight-pants himself at a Malcolm Reynolds look-alike contest, they'd just be excited he was there.

Sydney-fan In reply to Nerdnumberone [2015-03-07 23:59:49 +0000 UTC]
Yea, if I entered a Wolverine look-alike contest, I could justifiably be annoyed at not coming first, given how I am the spitting image of Hugh Jackman. Β Especially as I have the sideburns, whereas his are glued on.
But, if I turned around and saw that the first place prize had gone to Hugh himself, that would be awesome! Β I could earn free drinks for life, with that story. Β And without having to let everyone assume that I was somebody else.

khamya9 In reply to Nerdnumberone [2014-05-17 09:34:04 +0000 UTC]
Except in this case, it appears Sidney is trying to avoid letting them know she's the "genuine article". Notice how she has her orbs leashed.
If she were openly competing as herself, they'd be orbiting. Thus I submit that she is pretending to be not-herself, and thus "cheating".
