Bio
Molly is a shy and timid girl who attends Sodor Community College. Her parents divorced when she was just five years old, and the aftermath of which took a tole on her; with her mother having moved out of the country and father being too busy to spend any time with her, plus the constant bullying at school, Molly became incredibly self-conscious and easily afraid of the outside world. However, when she was seven, her father announced that he was marrying another woman, who turns out had a son named Murdoch. After both pairs moved in together, Molly and Murdoch immediately took a shine to each other as soon-to-be siblings; with her being a good listener to him and him protecting her from bullies and teaching her to be more assertive. She didn't move to Sodor until she was sixteen when her father got a job at Brendam Docks; where she and Murdoch ended up attending SCC.
Due to her bumpy childhood, Molly is extremely shy around people and sensitive to a lot of things, though since Murdoch became her step-brother she has been steadily improving in her confidence, whether it being standing up to bullies or generally being more open and approaching to new people, which lead to her being accepted into her current circle of friends. Her newly boosted self-esteem eventually lead her to start showcasing some of her unique talents; such as her incredible swimming skills, which proved to be the best in the school and her gifted singing voice, leading her to become a member of the 'Dream Girls' along with Emily Stirling, Mavis Drewry, Rosie Vulcan and Polly "Lady" Stone.
One of the biggest things Molly is conscious over is her body, as she feels that it brings her a lot of unwanted attention, especially from the male crowd. Once she hit puberty, she developed fast, and by the time she was fourteen, almost all the boys (including the ones who bullied her) were trying to hit on her or giving her admirative glances, which only fueled her insecurities. The only boy who didn't seem interested in her looks alone was James Hughes, who was on holiday when Molly met him. The two dated for a while, but when she overheard James brag about their relationship to his friends, she immediately assumed that he was simply using her to advance his credibility. Upon confronting him about it, the two ended up getting into a very heated fight, with her calling him an "arrogant showoff" and him calling her a "spineless baby", which lead to them breaking up in a vicious way. When she was transferred to Sodor Community College years later, the two met again, with tension still high between them. But after being harassed by Diesel for rejecting his advances and almost forced into something against her will, James saved her and the two immediately broke down and apologised for how they acted years prior, quickly becoming friends again and eventually giving a relationship another chance.
Shy and sweet, kind and thoughtful; in her short time on Sodor, Molly has proven to be an exceptional student and a great person to be friends with. Though she is still a bit nervous around people and can be easily embarrassed or upset, she strives to be as good as everyone else and wants others to think the best of her.
