Bio

Polly is a wise and peaceful girl who lives within the town of Shining Time near Muffle Mountain on the Island of Sodor. Born into a family of sorcerers dating back generations, she was next in line to continue the Stone name by preserving and protecting the secret to her family's power, the Gold Dust. But one fateful night, Alexander Tensley "Diesel 10" Windsor, a disgraced student of her grandfather Burnett, arrived at her home town of Shining Time seeking revenge on his former mentor for banishing him. The Stone's fought him and his gang, but in the end Diesel 10 prevailed over the sorcerers, killing both of Polly's parents and severely injuring Burnett. However, before he was able to seize the power of the Gold Dust for himself, Polly used every ounce of her power to bring the entire building down on top of both of them, while simultaneously scattering the Gold Dust into the unknown, away from Diesel 10. The force of the collapse, coupled with the amount of power she used rendered Polly comatose, so her grandfather decided to hide her within the safety of Muffle Mountain, hoping she would eventually awaken from her slumber.

After five years, Diesel 10 returned to Sodor, intent on destroying the Stone family and gaining the power of the Gold Dust once and for all. But thanks to some well placed clues she provided before her sacrifice; Polly's sister Lily, along with her boyfriend Patch and Thomas Billinton managed to locate where the Gold Dust was sent to and retrieve enough to wake the young sorceress from her coma. Upon regaining her strength, Polly brought all the lost Gold Dust back to the Monastery to preserve it once again, but at that moment Diesel 10 attacked, having waited for her to bring the power back so he could steal it all. After a chase down Muffle Mountain, Thomas faced off against Diesel 10, having been powered up by Polly and sent him plummeting from a collapsing viaduct. With the menace of the Stone family gone, Polly was ready to take up her birthright as guardian of the Gold Dust, but Burnett instead told her to go live a normal life where it would be safe for her. Wanting to be close the boy who saved her, she chose to enroll at Sodor Community College, where Thomas introduced her into his circle of friends, all of whom took a liking to her; with her peaceful demeanor and natural beauty earning her the affectionate nickname "Lady".

Due to missing five years of her life and being hunted by a madman, Lady is very reserved around other people and does find it hard to trust those she's unfamiliar with; while several students welcomed her with open arms, she didn't do the same for them for quite a while. However, once she eventually did, she found having lots friends to be a truly wonderful experience and soon began to open up more and more, even becoming a member of the 'Dream Girls' with Emily Stirling, Molly Russell, Rosie Vulcan and Mavis Drewry.

She was even the subject of affection from many of the boys of SCC, something she found uncomfortable at first, but eventually decided to give a few of them a shot. Many first assumed she and Thomas were an item due to them spending a lot of time together, and while she was attracted to him, it was mostly because she was grateful to him for saving her life. Of all the boys she tried getting close to, the only one she found appealing was Percy Avonside; finding his awkward behavior cute and his gentlemanly charm very fetching. Though because she only sees him at school and spends most of her free time with her grandfather, they haven't been able to take any further steps in their relationship.

Beautiful and wise, peaceful yet reserved, Lady is a one of a kind student at Sodor Community College, in quite a literal way. Thanks to years of training with her grandfather, Lady has become an embodiment of Gold Dust and always uses her powers for the good of Sodor and its people; including visiting troubled individuals in their dreams, helping with heavy lifting and even small medical practices. If Diesel 10 ever returns again, she will do whatever it takes to protect her family's treasure and the people she loves.
