Description Drawing of my Sister.

took about 5 days.

Size is A4 on smooth Bristol.

really like this drawing, went for a slightly more unfinished look. because i quite like people being able to see my technique.

tools used:
various mech pencils, 2H, HB, 4B, 9B.
kneaded and electric erasers.

the background was tough :/ and it still doesn't quite look right, but i gave it my best shot. alot of people seem to be drawn to the necklace and im not sure why - i didn't spend that much time on it...hmm. anyway glad you like it.

I think you did an awesome job with it, for me those type of backgrounds tend to give me a headache..lol..I see why they like the necklace, it really seems to 'pop' off the page.

What I like most about this one, David, is your use of light. In the trees behind her, the pearls round her neck and even reflecting off her top.

yes i tried to bring everything up to a realistic level - and light is most important in doing that.
