I've always wondered if this would happen in the show, Dib totally would do this. By the way, have you heard that Jhonen might be bringing Zim back? I think it's just to complete the unfinished episodes (including 'Invader'Dib') then it'll just be reruns, either way I hope I'm not setting myself or anyone else up for disappointment
