... I bet that's a great print to hang on your wall - if you had a print account (or maybe you do? the recent redesigns still have me a little confused) and i had my own place, i'd seriously consider getting a print of this

Hahahah, yes, regularly. But always with permission of the parents... I usually take a couple pictures, wave at them, and then start a dialogue. It's a great way to get to know people

This is a really great shot-- I love how the little girl is looking right at the camera. Sometime between childhood and adulthood we are taught not to make eye-contact with strangers--- yet, it is a delicious secret all grown-ups share with little kids that it's ok to have that silent conversation with little kids. I think people crave that connection but are totally inhibited by societal constrants. I'm not really articulating that well . . . but yeah, nice capture; beautiful picture.

Very insightful... this is totally true. I always make eye contact and/or talk to kids.. and I try not to patronize them because they are really smarter than we think.
