Wow, your mother has a beautiful face. seriously, no word of a lie, my X GF was from Greece and she looked a bit like your mother. i tend to go for the Mediterranean look or Spanish, Italian. i don't know why, i love Girls who have an Accent too. Anyways, lovely photo manipulation for your dear mother RIP to all the beloved

Thank you so very much! I have to admit it, my mother was very beautiful. Yes there is Spanish and Italian in the family. I didn't get the dark skin and dark eyes. Nope white and Blue eyes. In fact I stay out of the sun and I'm working on becoming translucent. That way I can go to the doctors and point exactly to the problem! He will be able to see right through my skin!
Thank you. I did her and my Grandmothers hair and make up for the coffin! It was the very last thing, (besides pray for their souls), I could do!
You like the med accent and I like the British accent.

Ah you're welcome Dennis pal, oh she looked lovely from that little photo manipulation. ah but you were overlooked on the Dark skin and Eyes, oh well, white and eye can't be all that bad well becoming semi transparent is a good thin g right? i'd go full invisible ! at least i wouldn't have to look at myself in the morning after a night out !
Really? that must have been a very emotional but poignant moment for you to do your grandmothers hair and makeup. ! at least you gave her a darn good send off ! and a prayer of course. on to better cosmic horizons !
Ah yes, all depends what UK Accent? i love the southern American accent personally.

I really try to be good!! But sometimes the other just pops out,if you know what I.
Well, if I went outside and stayed there for awhile I will not burn, I will turn brown, so II do have that to my credit!
This was her before she had cancer!
Yes like one of those models they used to have of of a man who had clear outside, but you had to put all the insides together.
Yes, My Grandmother had wanted me to do her hair and make up, but she was very serious about me putting her eye brows straight! Something about coming and haunting me If I did not do a good job!
There I was alone seeing her on a slab, I couldn't cry, I just had to do it and go. But when it came time for her eyebrows. I had to climb up on the slab and practically sit on her stomach to get them just right. And in walked the undertaker! Well he already thought I was a bit macabre, But this put the wonder right out of his head. I'm a short fellow and this was the only way I could do it! But we both had a good laugh after! He was really a nice man. He let me sit and ride in the hearse at my good Uncle's funeral, much to the shagrin of my bad Uncle!
During life, I would do my grandmas hair and no mater what she found a place for these three damn bobby-pins. I hated those things. But I did bury her with a thousand count box of them. She was fun, and very well loved. Not a dry eye in the house. Litter ally every one took off some jewelry,(real Gold), and placed it on her. It was the most beautiful thing to see.
The southern drawl. Yes it can be nice at certain times. The New York accent is one I love, Especially from Brooklyn. But they speak very fast. And the word ask is Axe. that is the only think I can't stand. No I didn't axe someone today, I just shot them instead!
In Northern California we don't have accents we can pick up others very fast. And Yes, the R is pronounced!! I never could get the British word for Schedule. It is pronounce sed-duel! Do they also say shool in stead of school?
To be truthful I do love I do love the way Kathy Burke speaks in Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie! She is a pill!!
Until later my friend!

She was a very pretty lady and i'm sorry to hear she had cancer i can connect with you as my mum had the dreaded C word too. i think i told you about that.
Well i'm the same, i get very pale sometimes like death warmed up and if i go out in the sun instead of going brown as a berry i go red as a lobster and then peel bad !!hahahaha
Oh i remember them, like a transplant torso and you could see all the organs. and Bone anatomy. very interesting indeed. lets hope you don't get that transparent man lol !
Well i guess you must have done a darn good job eh? no haunting's yet? i hope not ! like i said on the previous comment, it must have been a very poignant moment being that you did her hair when she was with us and the final time when she passed...even if you did have to climb up on the slab and do her eye brows !!! all we have is memories, good or bad. you did your best man !
You know, i was going to add that in my previous comment too. i love the New York and Brooklyn Accent too...it's the way they say Hamburger, Coffee or Hot-dog that get's me..love it.
No we say School, well at least in the southwest we do. it reminds me of that song...different pronunciations but all the same meaning..lol
You say either and I say either
You say neither and I say neither
Either, either, neither, neither
Let's call the whole thing off
You like potato and I like potahto
You like tomato and I like tomahto
Potato, potahto, tomato, tomahto
Let's call the whole thing off ....you know? lololol
Ah yes i know Kathy Burke, Londoner, kinda like an old cockney Accent, she's a funny comedian. hahaha !
Until later Dennis !

I hate Cancer and would not wish it on anyone!! There are hints of cures here and there, but nothing in the news. I do not think that they want to cure it. The slow and painful death makes them money! You told me just a little about your poor mother! May she rest in God's Care! My mother was 64 when she passed. The nest day April second she would have been 65! I do not celebrate April fools day any more!
I would to do that when I was a little boy, and get terrible nose bleeds! I hated it! I still try to stay out of the sun, for some reason it just makes me sick. Transparent is what I'm aiming for!!
My oldest step brother,( a real jock, muscles and all) Would have his skin peel on his back from the sun bathing. We did not get on very well, but I was aloud to peel the extra skin off his back. I could get the entire thing off in one sheet! And then he would go back to not bothering with me! I felt so cheap!
Nope, no haunting yet! Thank God! You know, the dead body did not freak me out at all. I wonder why. My sister said it was because I'm creepy to begin with! Well so what if I only wear black! I really miss them all! Now I'm alone, well I do get the privilege of having Cuddles the wonder clown around, who never does what I ask! Oh, but wait he did get a job today. Hopefully I will have more time to be alone.
A yes, New Yorkese!! A Car is cay, no R's at all. A hamburger is hamburba. Coffe is coofee. A hot dog is Hoat Doag. A radiator is rad-E-atay. I had a friend who was from the borough of Brooklyn. She and I where as thick as thieves. We adopted each other as brother and sista. She passed a couple of years back from cancer also. I used to try to get rid of her accent for fun, to absolutely no avail. And she thought that she had no accent left because she was out her in California for so long. We would make each other laugh and laugh.
Like in skool? That is right. But Controversy ya'll pronounse it con-tra-vesy. Yes it is the whole You say either and I say I-ther song to a tee!
Yup, I love me some Kathy Burke, she makes me laugh up a storm!! Old cockney is great! I also love Catherine Tats Nan. Nan reminds me of my grandmother just a little. Grandma was ladylike, but tough as doornails.
Until later James!!

The same, After what happened to my Mother, i wouldn't wish it on my own worst enemy either...you're 100% right about the big pharma not really wanting to find a definite cure. if it can make those companies millions every year then they're not going to suddenly cut off that flow of revenue coming in. Cancer is here to stay unfortunately.
Your mother was still young too...when some people go on to live way into their 90's but then..personally i think the good die young and the evil live on to a ripe old age. My mother had a rare tumour called an Adenoid cystic Carcinoma, it was slowly growing behind her right eye, attached itself to the nasal cavity, the upper part of the mouth and would eventually attack her throat, lungs and brain. she refused all medical treatment because the operation would have mean't that half of her face would've
been removed, not be able to talk, right eye removed, not be able to eat properly... this was the Drs saying this to her at the time, because they had no idea how to tackle the Tumour, because it was so rare..so she suffered...and i watched her suffer. Thing is Dennis, she never drank, never did drugs, never smoked, she was such a beautiful looking kind lady. and yet she had this Cancer. that destroyed her looks, and everything else which i won't go into because it's to upsetting for me to think about. Like i said my friend, the good die young.
Now my Brothers are the opposite, they go brown as berries but me? nah, sod that for a game of soldiers, i'll not spend to long in the sun. Brother eh? i think they're all the same. my older brother wasn't nice to me either but i was always nice to my younger brother, because of what my older brother was like. I've always been that way, i try to see reason in someone strange habits, or their blind aggression and turn a negative into a positive.
Being creepy isn't a bad thing and wearing black certainly isn't a bad thing either..i wear black all the time. i think it's pretty darn cool, so no worries, it takes all sort to make up this varied colourful world, we just gotta all make the best of what time we have here on gods green earth and just get along...i'm not talking about those commie globalists or those loony liberal commie snowflakes, they can go move to Red Russia or China..
Hahahaha ! man, i love all these strange pronunciations. they do make me giggle. omg yes Catherine Tate too, aww yes the Nan impression she does is hilarious. Nan's usually were tough as door-nails Dennis. always very lady like but you wouldn't want to mess with them. i bet your Nan was tougher than most !! lol
Until next Time Dennis

I could tell you stories that would literally make you faint. But she was never unfaithful, and never unkind or did anything to provoke others. She was really very kind.

So many real and down to earth people did. Other woman, while is was growing up would not like her because she was beautiful and she could talk to the guys without resorting to all the female cattiness. This was at the parish level. She loved down to earth good honest people. After VII came, and the revolution was on, the sister who no longer whore habits didn't like hear because she spoke her peace and let the chips fall where they wear. My eight grade teacher sister Evelyn (burn your habit) Joyce, need a ride and my stepfather and mother said they would. on the way back this sister(?) decides to mack a play for my stepfather in front of my mother. Way Wrong Things To Do. The precise words were, " You do not wear your habit or even encourage a descent Catholic life, so I would feel no compunction to riding down to your pad that you call a convent and beating you into a pulp. He may not be much, but he is my husband, you never speak to yours, ya old bitch!" After that I was bared from getting into any Catholic high school and had to pull one year in a public School. Boy it was worth it. I miss that I can't call her an tell her of a wonderful person like you. I may never stop missing her.
