Description
This is a horror story about Reno from Final Fantasy 7 as a life size wax doll that somehow comes alive and begins to kill. I'll release 2 chapters today and one chapter each Saturday until this story is completed. I hope you'll all enjoy it! ^.^

Summary: Melinda is a big fan of Reno from Final Fantasy 7 and she is more than excited about the new game, but when she lays her eyes upon the life size wax doll of Reno outside the game store she is instantly intrigued by it.

*Opening scene*

We can hear the sound of running water faintly drifting from outside the bathroom as our view shifts rapidly into a bedroom. A bedroom packed with fan memorabilia featuring Reno from Final Fantasy 7. Action figures on shelves, plushies, wall decals and more covering every inch of the room. It feels like a mini museum. A small orange cat lies in the big king size bed among the pile of pillows with pillowcases with Reno on them.

Melinda is a beautiful young woman in her early 20s. She is standing in the intensely hot shower and she is still exhausted after a long week of both work, and school, but she lets the warm water fill every pore, giving her tired body some energy. The steam engulfs her, she can hardly wait to go to the mall!

The warm water continues to wash over her tired body as she hums to "Mariah Carey's song - Obsessed" which truly describes her feelings for the redheaded man from Final Fantasy.

The small white bathroom is damp and filled with steam from the hot water.
Her rose petal pink bathroom floor is splashed with water.

As she hums, she begins to sing with Mariah, her voice angelic, the sound echoing slightly in the steam filled room, the hot water running down her body. At first it's a soft whisper, as it gradually picks up as she sings louder and louder.

Melinda's heart skips a beat as she notices her reflection in the mirror facing her, she's still so tired, yet with this burst of energy she suddenly feels like she could run for miles!

Melinda stood in the shower until the hot water from the shower turned cold.
She turns of the running water and steps out of the shower, wrapping a big pink towel around herself including her long hazel hair.

She caught her own reflection in the mirror again and she can see dark circles appearing under her eyes, but she shakes that image of herself out of her head knowing makeup could 'fix it' Melinda continues to stare into the mirror. Her pale green eyes stare tiredly back at her. She sighs at the exhausted reflection staring back at her.

She sighs at the realization that she's probably working herself way too hard with both work and school, but it's necessary if she wants to become a doctor.

She tilts her head down to the white sink and turns on the faucet, allowing the water to run for a while before she starts brushing her teeth. She knew her mother would call at any moment to remind her not to spend too much money at the mall today.

As Melinda continues to sing along to another Mariah Carey - song. She stares into the mirror, she realize just how pale and lifeless her face really looks.

She frowns and pulls out some concealer from her make-up box from a shelf next to the sink and mirror. She applies the make-up and notice how the dark circles under her eyes vanish. She smiles at herself and how fresh, and alive her face look. Melinda turns the water off from the sink and finishes up her make-up.

Still wearing the pink big towel she dance her way into her bedroom which is decorated with pictures, pillows, stuffed animals, posters and action figures with Reno from Final Fantasy 7. She is really obsessed with this character!

Feeling refreshed from the hot shower. She looks over at the piles of fan memorabilia of Reno that cover the room, she can't wait to get her hands on the new game!

She stripped from the large pink towel and stepped into the clothes she had already chosen the night before.

A dark red corset top that reveals a large part of her cleavage, a black mini skirt, black tights and a pair of black high heeled pumps. To top off her outfit of a pair of golden rhinestone hoops earrings, a black lace floral embroidered choker necklace and a pair of golden rhinestone bracelet.

She knew her mother would be upset by the choice of clothing, but Melinda was an adult and could decide for herself how she wanted to dress, but since it was a bit chilly outside she put on a light blue denim jacket.

Ten minutes later, she heard a knock on her apartment door. It was Melinda's mother Mrs. Clair. "Are you decent and ready to go, dear?"

"Yeah, let's go." Replied Melinda with a smile as she took her keys which lay in a glass bowl on a dresser near the front door. She locked the door behind her and stepped into her mother's silver colored Toyota.

"Good. Try not to spend too much money, you know what a shopaholic you can be." Her mother said with a smile as she kept her eyes on the road.

"Of course, mom." Said Melinda, but she wasn't planning on spending less money either. After all, this was a Final Fantasy convention and she had saved up $1000 just for this special occasion!

Melinda smiled and nodded at her mother as they both left for the mall.
She has never shopped with her mother before as an adult. So her mother could never realize how much of a shopaholic Melinda really was. If Melinda saw something she liked she had to have it and she didn't care about the price. It was kind of an addiction for her, but hey who really cares? As long as nobody gets hurt, right?
