Description I'll be using the same picture of the story since I only made one.
_______________________________________________________________________

The narrow passage was just wide enough for the man and the pregnant woman to walk side by side. As they walked, a strange smell wafted through the air, making the pregnant woman feel even more uneasy. She held her hand over her mouth and nose and tried to take deeper breaths.

They went even deeper into the tunnel, the smell growing stronger with each step they took. It was a sickly sweet scent, and the pregnant woman had a hard time not gagging. "What's that smell?" She asked the man, eyes filling with tears due to the intense scent.

"I'm not sure," the man replied, covering his mouth to avoid inhaling too much of the smell. "It's really terrible!" Said the man with some concern as well.

He paused for a moment and looked over at the mother-to-be, "How are you feeling? I would feel a little more comfortable holding you instead of letting you walk. I wouldn't want to risk something happen to you and the babies..."

The young pregnant woman looked at him with her hand still over her mouth, "No, I'm fine."

"Are you sure?" He placed his hand on her stomach. "These babies inside of you are going to start taking a lot more energy soon. You already don't feel so good. Is walking really the best idea...?" He caressed her stomach over her shirt, but she flinched away from his touch.

"Please don't touch me like that...!"

"Sorry." The man muttered, quickly withdrawing his hand from the pregnant woman's stomach. "I didn't mean to make you uneasy," said the man. Hina didn't answer. "Can I ask why you don't want me to touch your belly?"

"I don't like it when people touch me like that. Besides, you're not the father of these babies, so why do you even care?" She points out, without making eyes contact with the man.

The man looked stunned at her response, her words caught him off guard. There is a moment of silence as the two continue down the narrow passage. Eventually the man replied "I didn't mean to overstep my bounds, I was just trying to make you feel better." The man looked at the pregnant woman, his brow furrowed with worry.

Hina just stood there quietly, still avoiding his eyes.

He hesitated a bit “Well this is going to sound weird and unbelievable but I care because…I have a weird feeling that you're somehow important to me but I'm probably ridiculous and crazy…"

Hina looked up at him with a bewildered look, "Important to you? We are strangers...?"

The man laughed slightly nervously. "I know, that's why it's so strange." He sighed. "I've never felt this way before, thought. I just have this strange connection with you. I don't know what it is..."

Hina looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "I've never seen you before until today and with that bright colour of hair you've should be enough to make anyone remember, but I've never met you before..." He tried not to blush.

He knew she was honest, truthful and rational, but he couldn't hide the blush. "Yeah, I guess my hair is easy to remember. You can spot me from a mile away..." She giggled. "Yeah"

His blush deepened and he tried to play it off. Then he raised his eyebrow "I'm just curious to know why you don't like it when people put their hands on your stomach…?" The man asked the mother to be.

"It hurts..." She answered fast.

The pregnant woman nodded her head slightly and swallowed hard. She didn't really want to reveal the truth about why her stomach hurt. "My body is growing two children." She whispered. "Everything hurts." The man looked at her with compassion, clearly feeling bad that he pressed her for more information than she was willing to reveal about herself to him.

He couldn't, but wonder if she was lying or telling the truth. He sighed. "Is it just when strangers do it, or is it anyone...?" He asked her.

The pregnant woman just stood there hesitating to answer him, but then she looked up at him with tears in her eyes. "I have bruises all over my belly." She lifted her shirt up for him to see.

The man's eyes widen as he saw the bruises all over the pregnant woman's abdomen. His heart started to beat a little bit faster as he started to get  angry. "Who did this to you?" Asked the man sharply, his voice was filled with anger and concern.

"My babies are wild." Lied the pregnant woman as she pulled her shirt back down.

The man didn't buy that story, though, but he played along. "Those babies must have kicked you pretty damn hard..." The man could easily see that these babies did not cause these bruises on her belly.

He stared at the woman's stomach as he tried to figure out how her bruises could have really occurred. He then glanced up at her and just shook his head, clearly not believing her story.

"Those bruises don't look like they were caused by kicking." Said the man as thoughtful as he could as he continued to look at her abdomen. "Who did this to you?" Asked the man again, his voice was filled with concern and outrage.

"No one," Began the woman, "I'm just sensitive." Lied Hina to the man.

"Just sensitive?" He clearly didn't buy the pregnant woman's story, and his anger was starting to build up. "I don't believe you." He insisted firmly. "Those bruises seem pretty bad to me and those bruises aren't the result of the pregnancy, there is something else going on here." The man paused. He took a deep breath to try and calm his emotions down. "I can tell someone has hit you. So do you know who caused them? Was it the father?"

"No! My babies did this..." She kept up that tale.

His eyes narrowed. He stared at her belly, his voice took on a serious tone. "You're telling me that your unborn children are causing these bruises on your belly?"

"Yes." She answered shortly, but firmly. She knew he didn't believe her, but she tried to stand by her word.

He sighed as he tried to digest her answer. It didn't seem possible, but he also noticed the bruises and how bad they were. He sighed again “I'm not trying to make you uncomfortable or anything, but may I ask you another personal question?

"Do you have to?" Asked Hina, the man could easily hear that she wanted to drop the conversation and move on, but he couldn't.

He nodded, "Yes, unfortunately, I do need to ask you this question."

"I don't feel like it."

"I know you don't," The man began, "but it's relevant to the situation." He placed his hand on her shoulder. "You can trust me..."

"I don't know if I can..." Answered Hina truthful.

The man stood silent for a moment, "I understand, but I really need to ask this question."

"No." Answered the woman firmly.

The man felt frustrated now, "Just this one thing and I promise, I'll never ask you anything personal again."

The woman just shook her head 'no' "Just let us get outta here."

The man just sighed as he nodded. He gave her a tight squeeze on her wrist.
"Very well, I'll stop asking questions, but there's still one thing we need to do before we can try to get out of here."

"What?" She asked confused.

He glanced at her. "We need to try to go through the tunnel on the left. I'll hold you and guide you. It'll be pretty tight. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you need to trust me..."

Hina looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "For a guy who's never been down here before, you still seem confident about where we're going…?"

The man thought for a few seconds, then he finally turned back to her. "I'm just trying to stay optimistic." Said the man with a weak smile, "The tunnel can't go on for forever."

The woman nodded at him, "I trust you."

He smiled at her, "That's all I needed to hear. Okay, let's try and do this now." He walked over to the narrow passageway on the left. He walked over to her and kneeled down, "Are you ready?" He extended his hand to her to help her down to her knees.

"No wait! I have to crawl?" The woman exclaimed in confusion.

"Yes." Answered the man as he continued, "We have to crawl through it, but I'm here to help you, okay?"

The mother to be, looked at him doubtfully. "I...I don't know...if...my belly will allow it..."

"Don't worry." Began the man assuredly. "I'll take care of you. You just need to crawl through the narrow tunnel. I'll hold you close to my body while you do that, okay? We'll make this as easy as possible..."

"You don't have to hold me. I can do it...please let go."

He just looked at her and noticed her determination. "I can see that you're serious." He smiled at her. "I know you can do it, but if you need help, don't hesitate to ask, okay?" He backed up a little he gestured for her to crawl through the narrow space. "Remember, I'm right here..."

"Just lead the way..." Replied the pregnant woman back a bit annoyed.

The man nodded and gave her a reassuring smile. "Follow me..." He leads the way into the narrow passageway and waits for her to crawl through, he just wanted to make sure she was doing okay.

"I might get claustrophobia after this..." Said the woman as she crawled her way to him.

He tried to reassure her that everything was fine. "The passage is narrow, but it's not that narrow. You can do this." He paused for a moment. "I'll be with you the entire way. Just crawl slowly." He waited patiently for her to follow him. He crawled very slowly. The space was very tight.

Hina tried to stay calm and control her breathing as she crawled after him, but the space was narrow and she was afraid of getting stuck. "How far?"

He paused to glance back at her. "Not much further. Come on, keep crawling. You're almost there."

She did as he said and kept crawling.

She managed to move through the first tight spot. They were almost near the end of the tight space. "There's less than a meter to go." Said the man as he was looking at her. "You're doing great!" The man kept moving slowly.

She was almost on the other side of the narrow space and now it was a much wider space. She felt the space widen "You did it!" The man laughed proudly and looked at her. "You did really well! Now we're going to crawl under the wall and we'll be in a much bigger space. You're doing really well." He slowed his pace down.

After 2, or 3 minutes, the man came to a stop and glanced back. "I'm sorry, but we have to take a short halt for a minute because we need to make sure we're going in the correct direction." He looked at her. "Are you okay? You look tired."

The woman let out a big sigh, "I am tired...I wasn't expecting an adventure today, though..."

He chuckled. "I don't think either of us were expecting this when we fell through that trap door. Are you able to continue? Or would you like to rest for a little bit?"

"No, I can keep on."

The man nodded and smiled at her. "All right. We'll continue on." The man started crawling again and the mother to be followed him. It's still pretty tight, but at least it's wasn't as tight as the other space. After a minute or so, he stopped for a moment and glanced back at her. "Do you think we could go a little faster?"

She threw him a dirty look, "Sadly, I'm crawling as fast as I can...!"

He kept looking at her and he noticed a hint of disappointment in her voice. He felt sad because he wanted this to be easier on her. "Okay, no problem." The man kept crawling and it felt much wider. After another minute or so, she reached the end of the tunnel and arrive at the other side. The space is wide and there is much more room now.

To be continued...
