I have a love/hate relationship with Emus... so given the opportunity i had to get up close and personal with those beady orange peepers

Emus and llamas...both amusing creatures. I've never been up super close to an Emu, though.

I've had a love/hate relationship with emus ever since one pecked my head at the petting zoo. It is truely horrifying having something tap you on the head only to turn around and stare directly into the beady orange eyes of an emu inches from your nose.

Well, I uploaded pictures, and I'm about to go to bed, but I feel bad about not answering people's mail, so I'll stay up a bit and respond.
Emus are funny, but I have read that they can be scarily aggressive. Like...the kangaroos of the bird world.

An emu is a tall skinny ugly creature with a long snout.
People often confuse me for an emu.
