I just saw the movie...and after I did I felt like I had been missing out so I had to catch up. The best part of the film was with the flashing strobe light and the music from the Sunshine OST playing...awesome! Keep kicking-ass at your art!

did you catch john and my art work up on the wall in Cages war room. We did some 40 or so faces for that, also the team did the flash back animation. Which did not turn out that well but was fun to do. If you have the DVD there is a documentary on the creation of the comic book with all of us on it talking and do work.

I do have the dvd! I was actually just going to rent it but the had it previously viewed on sale for that same price as a rental so I scooped it up. Ill have to check out the special features. I would be interesting to see you guys [professionals] in action. Maybe I could learn a thing or two for my stories. And to be honest no offense to the movie, because it did have some original and visually appealing scenes, I liked the comic book alot more. I wished they didnt throw the love story it in I thought it was super hilarious in the comic when he comes clean to the girl and she gets her bf to beat him up. HA classic.

my favorite cover of the whole series (it reminds me of an random issue if x-men or spider-man from back in the early to mid 90s) And I am an admirer of John Romita Jr`s art style .and I like what you did with the colors this one it was and still is very impressive . too me anyways..over all love your work.!

Oh this is a very cool piece hereee! I really love the overal idea, the blood effect & the characters.
But I think that the girl stands out more, she looks more determined, the pose is more interesting than the guy's pose
and her cape makes her 'badass' HAHA,no seriously, it creates more movement, it attracted my eyes!
Every super hero has a cape right? XD I will favourite this piece for sure

not to terribly I have done some limited animation in the past. I also did the watercolor painting over Johns pencils on Big Daddies wall of villains

Photoshop made to look like watercolors. I could fake it on the heads. If it was more complex of a piece then I would have pulled out the watercolors to do it

the first book came out this month and its great!
i made a story with same elements like kick ass a few month ago,but without knowing of it until now.i like the style and especially the plot.
