Moved to scraps.My internet's down right now so I can't do much on the web unless I move to a public location like McDonald's or the library. I'll reply to comments and replies when I get it back up and running!
A colleague from my Digital Art class asked me to draw Fluttershy for her, so I went home and spent a quick hour sketching, lining, then colouring this simple portrait. I know that it suffers from some dimensionality issues, but I didn't have the presence of mind to do it properly.
Enjoy! More art is on the way because I have nothing better to do or worry about at the moment~ <3
Prismacolor Scholar on some Canson Bristol paper. Sturdy stuff that's great for making cards

Well there's always the feeling of doing something the traditional way as opposed to the digital, though I still can't draw smooth curves for more than 4 or so inches.
Yeah, the eyes are definitely of you. The wings are a bit close to the head, they're usually in the middle of the body (though I sometimes squeeze things too when something I want to convey won't fit within proportions). Otherwise, hope your colleague liked it, most of use certainly do!

Yesyessss, that is true! I like doing stuff traditionally a bit more than digitally drawing Cx Except for colouring. I suck at colouring with traditional media. Heh. And hey, as long as you draw from the shoulder, you can draw smooth curves for as long as you want tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Hehe, glad to know that I'm good at eyes Cx I'd like to make 'em better, though, hah. Yeahhh, I screwed with the proportions intentionally just to get everything to fit.

C': Thank you! I did the master sketch (which is linked in the description) in pencil. then I did the lines in pen. Then, I used Prismacolor Scholar coloured pencils to get the colours in.
