Description Another day, another apocalypse. In this I tried to portrait both the physical effects of radiation-burn and also a more complex scenario with the A-bomb (our friend, the Atom!) as the center of attention.

Thank you. It was inspired by a lot of things, mostly the human way of destruction, our stupidity that will (eventually) lead to a catastrophe of some kind. IΒ΄m fascinated by the A-bomb as well as the post apocalyptic scenery, which is why I often paint it. This piece is also inspired by the paradox (destruction vs. the undying will to survive) in which we all seem to live in various degree. The rest of my thought in the subject "inspiration sources" is too long to be written out here

Plus.. all though cynic, itΒ΄s important to hold on to the small pieces of beauty, like the very philanthropic act above.

Aaw, thanks for those words. Yes, nuclear wastelands, dystopia, science-horror and similar themes are my favourites as well. To paint it and picture it is.. a kick.
