Aww, I miss going on a bike...but unless you have a death wish, biking in Rome is possible but definitely not ideal

Btw, You don't have to begin biking in a mountain. There are plenty of flat roads (I'm living east of Paris, good luck to find a mountain there).
You should try biking, it's a tremendous and absorbing liberty to ride amid the fields, to go 25kms away just to find a quite place to read a book, or to hurt yourself by speeding to the extreme to relax.
(And you save time in the morning for going to the bakery and to work).

i see, i started looking around and there are several car-free roads for biking near where i live (in Bangkok)
well, not so close but not too far, think i could start from there

You will get used to those distances under 1 or 2 months if you have a road bike and use it frequently.
