Because of the day of the week. Nintendo always releases games on Friday in Europe and on Sunday in America.

Awesome! Although there MAY be a slight possibility of getting it earlier. JB-HI fi (IF you don't have that where you are it's basically an awesome store that has games, dvd's anime pcs and pretty much rocks) had those weird boxes on the shelves that had art on them, but obviously aren't the actual game box and they had a sign that said "out 31/10/11" So I really hope it's true XD. Either way at least i'm sure that it's coming out this year for certain lol

Best Buy in America says it's coming December 31st.
Anyway, the creators say they want every country to have it at the same time, so the story doesn't get spoiled for the countries that would get it later.
