Description I loved this week's episode, and Flutterhy's bat design is so cute, I had to make a plushie of her. But since I already have my other Fluttershy, and she'd feel replaced if I kept this one, I'm putting her up for auction cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?…

As usual, made of minky with applique eyes and cutie marks, with a bit of hand embroidery for the irises and eyelashes. I decided to go with single layers for the hair, even though this minky isn't fuzzy on both sides, because it's still soft, and jagged edges just don't work well in two layered style. I kind of prefer the feel of single layers anyway. Soft and floppy, more like real hair.

I'm finally starting to feel like I know what I'm doing with these Almost no wasted time on this one, and done start to finish in a few days rather than sporadically working over the course of weeks/months like usual. Still quite a few hours, though. But good time to watch lots of science and nature documentaries on Netflix while working

But now I need to finish my own collection, with at least Pinkie and Applejack, and hopefully the princesses and CMC...

It arrived today...OH MY GOD!!! SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!!!! I forgot to see how small it would be (honestly, I just saw the pictures and fell in love), and IT'S SO FREAKING CUTE!!!!! OH MY GOD THIS IS GOING TO BE WITH ME EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!

One note if you decide to do this kind of piece again in the future: you might want to secure wings and head a TINY bit more, I'm so afraid they might fall off if played too hard by a little kid (not that this is going to one, this one is for me! )

Yay! Glad she's found a good new home. Give her lots of snuggles for me

And I'll keep that in mind about the attachments They're pretty tough, with a bunch of stitches packed close together, but it probably would be a good idea to add more knots and separate threads in the future for backup incase they get pulled on hard enough to break one

I don't doubt your craftsmanship at all, but I figured I would give my perspective as a fellow craftsperson to just point out what could possibly happen in case future Flutterbats get snuggled too hard or are at the mercy of pets.

BTW, my kitten is now scared of Flutterbat

Thanks! She is indeed super soft, and practically weightless Glad you like the photos. Digital cameras are one of the best bits of technology that have appeared in my lifetime Sooo much nicer than having to buy film, conserve shots, worry about ruining a bunch of them if you forget to rewind the film before taking it out and exposing it to light, and paying money and waiting a week to get them developed. And this camera (Canon 520) was only $80, and takes great video/sound as well Bought recently so I could give my old one to my sister.

More snow coming down right now, too! Might be deep enough to dig out the old snowboard, although I probably won't be able to drive to the best hill until my street gets plowed... but with the extremely low temperature today and tomorrow, hopefully that hill won't get melted in the sun before I can get there like it usually does.

Ah I'll have to look into that camera, I've been wanting to get a new one since mine is horrible quality XD and that's awesome! There's tons of snow here too :'D you can't even walk on the sidewalks, the snow on the sides of the road is like 12 feet high because of the snowplow pushing it. XD
