A cross-hatching detailed pen drawing of one of my favorite werewolves. I haven't seen this movie in forever. X__X I must get right to it!
I spent around 4 hours on this, and I used a cheap Paper-mate ballpoint pen.

Although I am not knowledgeable as to what reference this is from, I must say that the technique executed for this piece is absolutely impeccable! I love the sense of tonal range in this piece, yet the light areas were held onto very nicely, which cam sometimes be hard with a permanent medium like ballpoint pen. The cross hatching done in this piece is very nice, and you can really feel a sense of texture, which is also difficult to accomplish with ballpoint pen at times. Overall, it's a lovely piece, and it brings credit to using ballpoint pen as a medium. It is be far one of the best pen pieces I have seen on dA.

That is insane! Seriously! That is just wicked awesome. I've tried to do that, but it's one of the hardest styles to do. I find it so, anyways.
