But then after watching FF Advent Children, and knowing what I'm like with tragic anti-hero's... How could I resist?
Sephiroth... yes. Rather adorable, and yet, like all his genre doomed to an unhappy existence usually aided to final rest with a big sword. *sigh*
Just once I'd really like to see the villain win.
Several hours, ugh feathers, Paintshop Pro, Photoshop, A5 Wacom, mmm long hair.

i don't follow FF Advent Children, so i'll probably sound very niave when i ask why he only has one wing, but why does he only have one wing? i'm sure it's true worth is lost on me since i don't have any clue who this is, but i like it. he's very pretty.

This character, Sephiroth, is from the Final Fantasy series... Originally a set of rpg's on the playstation.
To be honest, I've not actually played all the games, I've only played Final Fantasy 10, which was incredibly good and extremely addictive. To understand the reasons behind Sephiroth having one wing, I think you'd probably need to play FF 7 through or look him up on Wikipeadia which goes into huge amounts of detail about him. I don't actually know why he only has one wing myself!
The film, Advent Children is based on the game series and follows on from where FF 7 left off. I watched it last week and being a big fan of pretty looking, terribly tragic villians, Sephiroth just appealed to me and I felt the need to draw him.
I know bits of the game stories vaguely and figured stuff out after watching the film, which is an absolutely amazing piece of CGI eye candy, very much worth watching.
I don't know if this helps explain anything, I don't think it does really but nevermind, I did try!
