I was drawing something very similar to this with an in your face gun, dark figure, night background, etc. But it turned out like crap so i didnt post it. I like this one thoughh, wish mine could have turned out this well

Very awesome pic of Alucard (The only problem I have with the series is that his name is just Dracula spelled backwards... c'mon - more originality!!). Staring down the barrel of one of his guns (I forgot their names, been too long) is not my idea of a fun time. Tend to lose large chunks of flesh that way.
I love the blur effect on the gun, makes me feel as if he just pulled it up lightning quick and the picture was drawn a split second before he pulls the trigger.
Or maybe I don't know what I'm saying!

I know it's Dracula spelt backwards, and it is kinda clichΓ©d.
It's not the first time it's been done either, if I remember rightly there was an old black and white film and the vampire in that was Charles Alucard, or something similar.
Depending on the subtitles in Hellsing sometimes it's Arucard and sometimes it's Alucard, there's two schools of thought on the name with some people getting rather feisty if you disagree with their view. That's always the way though
Anyways, I don't mind that much as he's such a great character.
I certainly wouldn't want to be at the wrong end of those guns (Silver Casull, Black Jackal).
Still wouldn't mind being a vampire though.

There's also the name of Dracula's son in "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night" for the PlayStation... yet another Alucard! My theory is that it's "Alucard" , however since most Japanese people pronounce an "l" as an "r" it comes out as being pronounced "Arucard" or "Arucardo" (for some bizarre reason... must be another pronunciation quirk).
Though I do agree on the fact he's a great character. One of the more interesting "anti-heroes" of anime (If that's the proper term).
And yes... being a vampire would be neat..

this is absolutley awesome!! Alucard is so bad-ass, you did an amazing job, his expression is so sadistic i love it. The shading is wonderful the demensions bring out the air flow in his coat.. and just OMG!! : worship:
